Odem Bands Schedule – Week of 2/2/2026
This week we have a normal full week of school, and our last week without events for a while. We encourage students to check with their teachers on their grades this week, as the end of the six weeks is approaching! We have begun color guard practices and will hold tryouts on March 2nd. Practices are being held after school on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Spring Band Fees for 7th-12th Grade Band students are due at this time. Those fees help us purchase supplies, bring in clinicians, and cover other spring band expenses for the programs. Checks or Money Orders only, please, made out to OEISD.
This month, we have our Solo and Ensemble Recital, UIL Region Solo and Ensemble, Region Jazz Clinic/Concert, the All-State Band, and a couple of four-day weeks. February tends to fly by quickly! We will also hold one last evening practice for the HS Band on Thursday. Please help us ensure students are there. We’ll rehearse from 6-7:30 pm on music for Windi and Jazzi. After this week, we won’t be able to schedule those for a few weeks. We do plan to schedule one or two after Spring Break.
2026 Florida Trip
We ask that parents/students please check in on their trip accounts this week. This website link https://bobrogerstravel.grcoll.co/v2/go/odem26 should let you access the site. Students who are too far behind on payments will be removed by the company in the coming weeks. Please contact them for any questions on that.
