This week is Veteran’s Day, our first week of Playoffs, and we’ll be working with the HS to prepare for their Winter Concert and Region Auditions as well. JH is currently preparing for their region auditions as well, so while marching contests are finished, it will still be a busy week! Friday the district will host our Annual Veteran’s Day

I would like to begin this week by congratulating The Spirit of OHS on what was undoubtedly their best performance of the season yesterday!!! Though we didn’t make finals, they placed 13th out of 33 bands – ahead of 20 other bands! That was despite starting as the second band and having to be at the school by 4am! They did

Following a successful clinic this past weekend with Mr. Jesse Lotspeich, and trumpet professor Dr. Mary Thornton, this week begins our UIL Contest Season! Saturday, The Spirit of OHS performs at 6:30pm at AC Jones HS in Beeville.
