Odem Bands Schedule – Week of 4/13/2026
This week on Saturday, we will host our annual Windi and Jazzi Concert/Fundraiser! https://odemhsband.ludus.com is where tickets may be purchased. Please help us get the word out about it! We’ll begin letting audience members in at 5:25 pm. The Screeching Owl Jazz Band will perform as guests enter, and then our HS Band will perform a variety of music from Disney Films, How to Train Your Dragon, and more! HS Band students need to be at the band hall by 5:00 pm (4:45 pm for Jazz Students), dressed in their concert black clothing.
Tuesday night, we will have our monthly Owl Band Booster meeting. April is our month we are supposed to hold Officer nominations. Please consider attending and serving as an officer. This group of volunteers continues to do amazing things to help your students have the best possible experience in our program! The boosters are open to membership for anyone with a student in the Odem Band program!
After that, we have our Spring Concerts for HS Bands and JH Symphonic Winds on April 27th, and JH Beginning Band and Concert Band on May 4th. Graduation will be on May 15th, and we do ask all JH Symphonic Winds members to please join the 9th-11th Grade students in performing for that event!
UIL State Solo and Ensemble, May 22nd – 23rd, will be our final event before we leave for our trip to Florida, with check-in on June 1st. Please note that we will have our final Trip Meeting, which all participating students and a parent/guardian MUST attend, on Monday, May 11th at 7 pm.

2026 Florida Trip
We ask that parents/students please check in on their trip accounts this week. This website link https://bobrogerstravel.grcoll.co/v2/go/odem26 should let you access the site. All students must have the full amount by April 15th, per the company. Please contact them for any questions on that. Please do remember we’ll have our final trip meeting on May 11th. All travelers and a parent/guardian must attend this meeting! We will have forms and other documents that need to be signed at this meeting!
