Odem Bands Schedule Week of 9/21/2015

Below you will find the schedule for our rehearsals this coming week. Please also see the scheduled competitions/clinics that we have for the coming month of October.

Monday:  Rehearsal 6:30pm-8:30pm

Wednesday: Rehearsal 5:00pm-6:30pm

Thursday: Rehearsal 6:30pm-8:30pm

Friday: Odem vs. Marion at Marion

1:30pm: Students at Band Hall

We will feed the students on our way up to the Marion game Friday night. Please be advised that we will have a very late return that night. I anticipate we’ll return to the band hall sometime between 1am and 2am. I will have students call home as soon as I have a good ETA. I will also post it on both the Owl Band Boosters and Odem High School Band Facebook groups.

October Schedule:

Please note all events/rehearsals are mandatory!

Saturday, October 3rd: Goliad USBands Competition/Clinic

First Performance at 12:45pm, Clinic at 5pm (Students must stay through clinic)

Saturday, October 10th: Clinic with guest clinician from 3:00pm-6:00pm

Saturday, October 17th: UIL Region 14 Marching Contest – Performance around 12:30pm. I will post our official time when I receive it.

Saturday, October 24th: UIL Area Marching Contest – I am anticipating students performing around 12-1:30pm. We will not have the schedule until we know which bands are advancing from Region. Finals follow prelims that evening.
