Guard/Drum Major/Leadership Camp Information
Last night we received some information about the schedule for Check-In for the TAMUC Camp. These forms that must be printed, filled out, and signed, no later than students arrival the day we leave. (http://www.odembands.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/TAMUC-Commerce-Forms-and-Information-to-Send.pdf ) If you need me to give you a printed copy I will be available for that next week during normal business hours at the HS.
Students will need money for meals on the way up, dinner that first night, and then on the way back (lunch/dinner). There are also snacks and some souvenirs available up there too. They will be sending out more detailed schedules for each camp soon. When I receive it I’ll make sure you get it. Please remember that Leadership Camp members do need their marching instrument when we go up. Drum Majors will not need theirs. Guard members will be taking equipment up there, I believe Ms. Wicks will get with you all about helping if she needs that.
Please make sure you are on time on Sunday when we leave! Failure to arrive on time may mean we leave without that student – there are no refunds in that case.
Sunday, June 19th:
5am: Students at HS Band Hall – Load Bus
2:00pm: Arrive in Commerce to Check-In
4:00pm: Depart Campus to eat at Fast Food Restaurant
5:30pm: Return to Campus
6:15pm: Camp Begins
Thursday, June 23rd:
11:00am: Drum Major Camp Concludes
11:00am: Color Guard Camp Final Performance (Memorial Stadium)
11:30am: Leadership Camp Final Performance (Memorial Stadium)
12:00pm: All Camps are Concluded/Check Out
1:00pm: Lunch Stop
~10:30pm: Arrive in Odem
