Odem Band Schedule Week of 12/14/2015
Good evening,
Time definitely seems to fly this time of year, and we’re already at our Winter Concert week before the Christmas Break! We have two concerts this week for you to be aware of. The first concert is Tuesday evening at 7pm, which is our Annual Winter Evening of Jazz Concert featuring the Screeching Owl Jazz Band.
Our second concert, which involves all of the band students, is our Odem Bands Winter Concert. The concert will begin with the Odem Junior High Bands Beginning at 6:30pm and the Odem High School Band at 7:45pm.
The Beginning Band will have a mandatory Rehearsal on Wednesday after school. The rehearsal will end by 5pm and we ask that all parents please have rides ready to pick up their students at that time.
Following the concert we need all of the students from the HS band to help move equipment back to the Band Hall. We need to have everything moved back that evening due to the break beginning for students that day.

Monday: Corpus Christi Wind Symphony Concert at Alice HS (Great Free Concert if you’re able to go! Begins at 7:30pm)
Tuesday: 7pm – Evening of Jazz – Screeching Owl Jazz Band
Wednesday: 3:45pm-5:00pm Beginning Band Rehearsal After School
Thursday: Odem Bands Winter Concert at Cafetorium
5:45pm – Beginning Band Students In Seats in Cafetorium
6:10pm – Concert Band Students at Band Hall
6:20pm – Symphonic Winds Students in Choir Room
6:30pm – Concert Begins for Junior High
(Beginning Band, Concert Band, and Symphonic Winds)
7:45pm – Odem High School Band Concert Begins
All students should take instruments home with them following the concert for break.
