Odem Bands Schedule – Week of 12/16/2024
We want to begin by thanking the community for supporting the students concerts this past week! The junior high and high school concerts were well attended, and we appreciate everyone’s support! We also want to congratulate all of the members of Odem JH and Odem HS who performed at the All-Region Clinic/Concert on Saturday!
This week the only event we have is a booster meeting Tuesday night at 6 pm. HS students will be transitioning to split concert bands this week, and we’ll have finals across the week with them. JH finals will be on Wednesday and Thursday.
We will send students instruments home on Thursday, and ask that you please help us encourage them to practice over the break!
One last note is that we do need all trip participants for 2026 to please make sure you register on Bob Rogers Travel site for the trip. Current 8th-11th Grade Band Students are eligible to travel on this. If you missed the meeting you may find a copy of the packet here: https://tinyurl.com/msrnkua6 Registration is open on their site until January 9th here: https://bobrogerstravel.grcoll.co/v2/go/odem26 We will be able to register more after the date, but we ask that if you are planning on your student attending that you setup their account by then. Payment options and forms are handled through their website there. The boosters will make their bulk donation toward the trip for the number of students who have paid a deposit by February 15th. That will be paid sometime in the next month once we confirm the number of participants. I encourage students to attend this trip, it’s going to be an amazing experience for them that is only really possible for most of them as a group like this!
