We wish to begin by congratulating our Odem JH and Odem HS students on an OUTSTANDING series of performances at the UIL Region Solo and Ensemble Contest last week! The Odem JH Students brought back 5 Soloist Superior Medals, and 13 Ensemble Medals. Odem HS students brought back 7 Gold Superior Soloist Medals, 1 Bronze Superior Soloist Medal, and 30 Gold Ensemble Superior Medals! A record twenty-five students qualified to compete at the UIL State Solo and Ensemble Contest on May 27^th! Please see the section below for specific student results!

This week we will again have a rehearsal for our Cleveland Trip. We know students schedules are getting very cluttered this next month, so please help us get students there, but also just please let me know if we’ve got another group conflict that day. Between all of the sports and activities in the spring there is no ‘perfect’ day to have this rehearsal unfortunately!

Two weeks ago, I passed out updated balance amounts for students traveling to Cleveland. We need students caught up on payments this month please! All payments need to be completed by the first week of April for the trip! As we close in on the trip it is imperative, we have payments in so the travel company can make payments for items as they come up. 

Finally, Spring Band fees should be turned in by this time for 7^th-12^th Grade students. Please turn those in as soon as possible! Fees are $25/Student payable via Check or Money Order. They help to offset many of the costs in the spring with clinicians, supplies, music, etc. Please make payment out to OEISD, Memo: Band. Please contact us if you have any questions!
