Odem Bands Schedule – Week of 2/20/2023
This week will be a moderately busy one for us with the bands. First off, we will have our monthly Owl Band Booster Meeting Tuesday night at 7pm in the OHS Cafetorium. We need several new officers for this coming year, and I encourage any/all parents of Odem Band Students from Grade 6-11 to please consider coming and getting involved! The Boosters provide an irreplaceable level of support for our program, and we very much need new parents to step into the roles there!
On Thursday we will have our Annual UIL Region Solo and Ensemble Contest in Robstown at Seale JH. I’ve included a schedule below with times for HS, and the blocks of time for JH. Students will depart from school at 2:30pm and will most likely return to Odem around 9pm. Parents are more than welcome and encouraged to come see their students’ performances! Please just keep in mind that UIL prohibits any Video/Audio recordings of students’ performances while they are in the room!
Windi and Jazzi tickets are on sale now! Our annual Dinner/Concert Fundraiser will be held on May 6th at 5:30pm in the Odem HS Cafetorium. This year’s theme is ‘Comedy Tonight,’ and will feature tributes to the slapstick eras of musical comedy! You may pre-purchase tickets here: http://odemhsband.ludus.com We will be seeking out donations for basket items and business donations in the coming weeks. Please keep an eye out for that information!
