Odem Bands Schedule – Week of 5/1/2023
May is upon us, and the final run of events for the school year is ramping up this week! Friday we have our Drum Major/Guard auditions beginning after school at about 4 pm. Then our big dinner fundraiser, ‘Windi and Jazzi’ is the next day on Saturday. Our annual Dinner/Concert Fundraiser will be held beginning at 5:30 pm in the Odem HS Cafetorium. This year’s theme is ‘Comedy Tonight,’ and will feature tributes to the slapstick eras of musical comedy! We highly encourage you to pre-purchase tickets here: http://odemhsband.ludus.com, but we will sell tickets on-site as well. $15 and $20 seats are still available!
Additionally, even if you can’t attend, you can still support via the online auction! https://www.biddingowl.com/Auction/index.cfm?auctionID=26622 Items are available for bid leading up to the day of the event. The online auction is slated to close prior to the in-person event, and the bid amounts will be transferred to the in-person auction. Just two weeks away we have our spring concerts for JH Symphonic Winds and HS Bands on Monday, May 15th, and JH Beginning Band/Concert Band on May 16th. April Trip payments should have been made at this time. Please make sure arrangements are made to pay directly to Bob Rogers Travel through the website, or via check/money order to Owl Band Boosters, and we’ll forward it to them! We do have a number of registered students who have not yet made payments/deposits. Please take care of that no later than next month so we can ensure an accurate count!
