Odem Bands Schedule – Week of 5/7/2023
We would like to begin by extending a big thank you to all who supported Windi and Jazzi this year! We hope everyone enjoyed the event!
With that event done, we truly are on the downhill slope for events for the year. Next will be in a week when we have our spring concerts for JH Symphonic Winds and HS Bands on Monday, May 15th, and JH Beginning Band/Concert Band on Tuesday, May 16th. Please help us make sure students are at all of their performances as they are mandatory and graded events! (Please note concerts are considered curricular and all students are eligible/required to attend)
This week we only have one event scheduled, the monthly Owl Band Booster meeting will take place at 7pm on Tuesday. We will be holding officer elections this week for next year. Please come join us if you can!
Following our final spring concerts we have graduation on May 26th, which is a performance for 9th-11thGraders and Symphonic Winds members. We need all students present so we can provide a great performance for our graduating seniors! That weekend on Sunday the 28th we will be departing for UIL State Solo and Ensemble for those members that advanced. We’ll return in the evening on Monday.

May Trip payments should be made this next week. Please make sure arrangements are made to pay directly to Bob Rogers Travel through the website, or via check/money order to Owl Band Boosters, and we’ll forward it to them! We do have a number of registered students who have not yet made payments/deposits. Please take care of that no later than next month so we can ensure an accurate count!
