Odem Bands Schedule – Week of 8/13/2018
For the past few weeks our students have been doing an outstanding job with our rehearsals! Thank you for supporting them and helping them to make it to all of the rehearsals! Due to teacher inservice we will be adjusting this weeks practices to 6:30pm-9:30pm Monday through Thursday. Friday is a set of scrimmages that we will need some volunteers to help out with the concession stand. (Scrimmages start at 5:30)
This week we have fees due for Fall Guard and Fall Marching Band Fees. The fall fee for Marching band is $35 for returning band members who do not need marching shoes. For freshmen and any returning members who need marching shoes, that is additional $40. We need the initial $35 at least this Thursday, but would prefer the full amount if possible to help us order shoes in time for the first football game on the 31st.
The fall Guard Fee is $200, or $240 with the optional bag. Returning vets that have warm-ups can reuse those and their fee would then be reduced to $100 or $140 with the warm-ups.
As always, we do our absolute best to work with financial situations. We do understand that the beginning of the school year can be tight financially, but do ask that you do what you are able to do. If there is ever a financial concern please contact us and we will determine the best way to work out a payment plan for your situation.
We would like to also make you aware that on Wednesday, August 22ndwe will host our annual Meet the Band Performance at 7:30pm at Owl Stadium. Please come join us and get a first look at our 2018 Marching Show, ‘War Dance.’
