Odem Bands Schedule – Week of 9/6/2021
We have entered September, and with that the HS Band is quickly moving towards our upcoming competitive season! We will start competitions on September 25th in Beeville! For both games and contests we need to have some parent volunteers in order to get everything on the field and set. If you can help, please come find us on the track when you see the band go down to warm-up for half-time. We realistically need 10+ parents in order to pull off our show this year as we still have sideline screens we haven’t set out, and another set of game piece props. Additional help with loading equipment after half-time would also be really appreciated!
This week’s game is on Thursday, so it will change up our schedule some. We have two rehearsals tomorrow, on Labor Day, and then a rehearsal Tuesday night. Wednesday night we will begin ending at 5:30pm this week. Please see Thursday’s schedule for our departure and return times. Thursday games start earlier at 7pm, so please plan accordingly if you are traveling to the game.
Finally, for any parents with a Beginning Band Student, we ask that you make sure students have their instruments, mouthpieces, accessories, etc. by Tuesday at the latest. We are hoping to start students on instruments this week!
