Odem Bands Schedule – Week of April 20th, 2026
We begin this week by thanking all of those who came out to our 8th Annual Windi and Jazzi concert fundraiser! We give a special thank you to those of you who donated items and participated in the silent auction! The silent auction raised $1,865! The evening was a success because of you all, and we appreciate your attendance!
From here, we have just four weeks of school remaining, but it’ll be a busy time! This week will be our only free week in that time. Next Monday (27th) will be the Spring Concert for the HS Bands and JH Symphonic Winds. The next Monday, JH Beginning Band and Concert Band will have theirs on May 4th. Graduation will be on May 15th, and we do ask all JH Symphonic Winds members to please join the 9th-11th Grade students in performing for that event!
UIL State Solo and Ensemble, May 22nd – 23rd, will be our final event before we leave for our trip to Florida, with check-in on June 1st. Please note that we will have our final Trip Meeting, which all participating students and a parent/guardian MUST attend, on Monday, May 11th at 7 pm.
A reminder that Seniors must have their scholarship applications turned into Mr. Rash by Thursday this week at 3:45 pm for the Owl Band Boosters Hector Martinez Memorial Scholarship. If they need a copy, he can provide that. The Boosters offer up to three $500 scholarships each year to seniors attending college or a trade school.

2026 Florida Trip
All trips should be completely paid at this time. Please contact Bob Rogers for any questions on that. Please do remember we’ll have our final trip meeting on May 11th. All travelers and a parent/guardian must attend this meeting! We will have forms and other documents that need to be signed at this meeting!
