Summer Band Rehearsals Begin Tomorrow!

I wanted to send out one last reminder that we begin Summer Band Rehearsals tomorrow morning. Please make sure students are present for all of the rehearsals that apply to them. It’s imperative that we begin this advancing year strong with all of our students present!

Students need to bring close-toed tennis shoes and a water jug/bottle to all marching rehearsals. It’s been hot this past week and I anticipate that to continue through summer band. Please help us ensure students are staying hydrated before/after rehearsals as well! Students should not rely on Soda or Energy Drinks as they increase the likelihood of dehydration.

9am-1pm: Front Ensemble Rehearsal

9am-12pm: Guard Sectional

9am-11:15am: Woodwinds Sectional and High Brass (Trumpets/Mellos)

11:30am-1pm: Low Brass Sectional and Battery Percussion Sectional

2:00pm: Leadership Meeting

3:00pm-5:30pm: Inside Music Rehearsal

5:30pm-6:30pm: Dinner Break

6:30pm-8:30pm: Outside Marching Fundamentals

5:00pm: Students Report to Band Hall

6:00pm: March-A-Thon Begins

~8:00pm-9:00pm: Pool Party at Odem Pool

Please keep in mind the dinner break is not going to have McDonalds as an option anymore. Contact me with any questions or concerns you may have!
