Record Number of Screeching Owl Jazz Members Make All-Region/Area Jazz Bands
Saturday, September 12th twelve members of the Odem High School Screeching Owl Jazz Band traveled to Goliad HS to participate in the ATSSB Region 14 All-Region Jazz Auditions. Of those twelve, nine of them earned places in the All-Region and All-Area Jazz Bands. This was a new record for our program and the second most of any school that day.

Band Parent Meeting Tuesday, September 1st
There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, September 1st at 7pm at the Band Hall. This meeting will happen in conjunction with the monthly Band Booster Meeting. Sign-ups for the concession stand will happen that evening as well. Each week, just for Varsity home games, we need an average of about twenty-five volunteers to run the concession stand

Marching Rehearsal Schedule Change
Good evening, We will be moving rehearsals to 6:30pm-9:30pm until the school year starts up. Athletics and Band both have to move their schedules due to the start of the professional days with teachers the coming week and a half. We will no longer meet at 4pm for a separate music rehearsal.
