Before getting to this week’s schedule I would like to congratulate all of our students on their outstanding performances at UIL Region Solo and Ensemble last week! Odem JH had 3 students earn Superior Medals, and many others were given ratings of Excellent! Odem HS brought back a total of 26 Superior Medals with 4 Soloists and 3 Ensembles advancing

This week we’ll be focusing on preparing students for their Solo and Ensemble performances next week, as well as Mr. Williams will have the first rehearsal of the Odem JH Jazz Band on Tuesday after school. This week is a light week for the Odem Bands. We will be primarily preparing students for the UIL Region Solo and Ensemble Contest on February 7th. Additionally 9 of our students advanced to the Area Round of Auditions for Odem High School! It was a good day and the students should be very proud of their accomplishments!
