We’re quickly approaching end of year events for the bands, but are in a last lull before they are upon us. Please ensure that you note upcoming concert dates and events, as May is a sprint to the finish! They successfully earned a Superior rating from all six judges, which, combined with their Superior at Marching Contest, resulted in their distinction! These next two weeks are going to be busy for the Odem Bands with our Pre-UIL Concerts this week, and UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluations the next! First up, tomorrow will be the HS Pre-UIL Concert, and Tuesday will be the JH Pre-UIL Concert. Students will need their Concert Attire for those events and the upcoming UIL Concert and Sight-Reading

We want to begin this week by congratulating Benjamin Castañeda and Eva Garcia on Saturday’s outstanding performances with the All-Region Jazz Bands! This week, we will be taking Eva to the All-State Band Clinic/Concert, and she’ll have her final state audition and performance up in San Antonio.
