This year the auditions were held virtually with recordings submitted by the students and judged by directors remotely. We would like to begin this week by congratulating The Spirit of OHS on their outstanding performance yesterday at the UIL Area E Marching Band Championships! For the 5th Consecutive time they have been named an Area Finalist Band! Ultimately, they finished 7th in the contest, but in a normal year would have had a finals round to compete one last time.

This week brings us to the week of the UIL Area E 3A Marching Contest that will be held at Calallen HS. The Spirit of OHS performs at 11am in the first block of bands that begins at 10am. The block concludes at noon when the stadium will be cleared of fans and sanitized for the next block. For our

This week is set to be a very busy week for the Odem Bands! The main event is that UIL Region Marching Contest will be Saturday. For this contest there is a limit of 100 tickets per school for the event. I’m including more information in the section below, but tickets will be held at OEISD Business Office for purchase.
