We would like to begin this week by thanking everyone who came out for our annual Solo and Ensemble Recital this past week! Students had a great opportunity for a first run with their performances and now have a couple weeks to clean! This week is a short one for students, but we do have a few events through the week! First there is a Pep Rally for Winter Sports on Tuesday at the end of the day. We’ll be performing at that with all of our eligible students. Thursday, we’ll have our Annual Solo and Ensemble Recital. This event begins at 5pm,

After a couple of odd weeks to start the school year, we’ll get to have our first full week of school this week! Students are preparing for a combination of UIL Concert and Sightreading and Solo and Ensemble right now. Along with that we’re currently preparing for our Cleveland performance in June! Greetings, I hope this message finds everyone staying warm! This week is a light one for the students in the bands, but we will have an evening Cleveland Rehearsal on Thursday. All participants need to be attending these rehearsals, and working to learn the music for the performance as soon as possible. We do have Spring Band Fees coming due

We would like to begin this week to congratulate the members of the Odem JH and Odem HS Bands who earned spots in the All-Region Bands this week! On Tuesday, Odem JH had 24 students earn spots in the region bands, the most of any in our conference across our two sites! Additionally, 5 students earned 1stChair in their sections!
