Following a successful clinic this past weekend with Mr. Jesse Lotspeich, and trumpet professor Dr. Mary Thornton, this week begins our UIL Contest Season! Saturday, The Spirit of OHS performs at 6:30pm at AC Jones HS in Beeville. This will be a very busy week for us with the Odem Bands as we have Homecoming events through the week and HS All-Region Jazz Auditions on Saturday for our students who are signed up. Then next week is the 2nd Annual Owl Marching Invitational! For homecoming events we start on Thursday with the Parade at 7:30pm

This week with the Labor Day holiday makes for a shorter week, but just as a reminder we do rehearse with the HS Band from 6:30pm-8:30pm tomorrow night! We will show the film from Friday at 6pm, and there will be a Leadership Team meeting at 5:45pm. Last week we met with parents about the upcoming June trip to Cleveland.
