We would like to begin this week by congratulating the members of The Spirit of OHS for earning a Superior Rating yesterday at the UIL Region Marching Contest for their 17th consecutive year! This week is going to be the big week of the First Annual Owl Marching Invitational on Saturday!!! We need at least one volunteer from each family to help work the contest in order to make it successful! Our students will be performing in exhibition at both the end of the Prelims and the Finals of the competition so that

This week is the beginning of 8 weeks of Friday and Saturday events for the Odem Bands, beginning with our Region Jazz Auditions on Saturday for those participating. They’ll be departing from Odem HS at 7:30am to travel to Kingsville. We anticipate they should return back home around 2-3pm. Students may want to bring some money for a concession stand

Wow, how are we already in September? It seems like it was just the end of July and summer band was beginning with the HS band! These next couple of months are going to ramp up with events for all levels pretty quickly, so please keep an eye on the calendar dates. Remember all rehearsals, games, contests, pep rallies, etc.
