Record Number of Screeching Owl Jazz Members Make All-Region/Area Jazz Bands
Saturday, September 12th twelve members of the Odem High School Screeching Owl Jazz Band traveled to Goliad HS to participate in the ATSSB Region 14 All-Region Jazz Auditions. Of those twelve, nine of them earned places in the All-Region and All-Area Jazz Bands. This was a new record for our program and the second most of any school that day.

Band Parent Meeting Tuesday, September 1st
There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, September 1st at 7pm at the Band Hall. This meeting will happen in conjunction with the monthly Band Booster Meeting. Sign-ups for the concession stand will happen that evening as well. Each week, just for Varsity home games, we need an average of about twenty-five volunteers to run the concession stand

Odem HS Summer Band Begins Monday July 27th!
The Spirit of Odem High School Marching Band will begin their Summer Practice Schedule on Monday, July 27th. For the first week we will run our traditional ‘two-a-day’ practice schedule.
